I always remember what I learned from Bruce Roberts during my drawing courses with him, he was repeating in each of his courses: <you need to draw the same thing over and over and when you get bored of repetition, still continue and the results will be amazing, you create!
I loved it when he called us generously,<Artists>.
Since my childhood, I have been creative in all I did,
was fast and interested in almost every things, so, I had a hard time to repeat the same thing. I do not know if someone had told me this when I was very young, I would have understood...today, I understand thanks to repetitions and discipline. Tai-chi, ballet, singing, photography, writing...offered me to understand that repetition is not actually boring if we are aware of what we are doing...fault of some teachers who do not explain it to the younger artists...Actually, each time we repeat, something new is happening, we keep distance from where we started from and we get closer to our own art-creativity-style, with any step, with any move during the process, we accomplish one step forward and toward the authentic artist we will be!

Anyways, what I admire in artists like Bruce Roberts and Ira Sokolova is that art is in them and they are arts, they are truely themselves with their own convictions (because nobody else has gone through what they had gone through and they know where they actually are in their process more than anybody else)! They are action people, sincere and very generous in sharing their arts...because they have so much in them that they are not scared of being stolen! They know they have mines of precious stones in them and if they let someone even steal stones from them, it is for the sake of arts, they want to make a magnificiant sculpture or create amazing jewelry with...thanks to the inspiring material, an art is born!
Both of the artists are universal and see the world larger than those who do not yet have the wisdom of the maturity and understanding of Life and Creativity!
The artists who cannot share yet, are still in the process of becoming an Artist!
Sunday afternoon, I ran to the Ira's show and when I got to the changing room, Ira & Jane started to laugh and they said they were just talking about me!
I enjoyed doing the wolf's make-up, Ira asked me to take picture of her hair from the back...I ran to the little riding hood to help with her hair but she had kept what I had done the day before and it was great idea! I had been cleaning up my camera to be able to register the act but as my battery started to be low, I said to myself that I would take pictures, less but the good ones.
That Sunday afternoon, all of the actors played wonderfully and the interaction with their public was so amazing...I was one of the crew so we celebrated this sucess after the show at Ira's house.
